Children are as much a part of the church families anyone else; we go out of our way to make children and families welcome.
If you come along, you’ll find a warm welcome for you, your children, grandchildren or those you care for. Our church is quite chilled about noise, so you can relax and get the most out of the services. Your children are welcome to stay with you through the service for you to enjoy it together. Alternatively, a couple of church members put on age-appropriate activities for twenty minutes when the sermon / talk starts, so you have a little more peace and quiet to get the most from the meeting
If you come with your children to the late afternoon service, and some do, there are sofas for comfortable seating.
Stay & Play is our toddler group for preschool children, meeting each Wednesday during the school term from 10:00 – 11:30 at The Church Centre on Silver Lane.

Babies and toddlers are welcome to attend Stay & Play with mammy, daddy, grandparents or the childminder, and some refreshments will be available. If you’d like to speak to someone before attending, why not drop an email or contact Rhian Shepherd via the church Facebook page.
Whilst we don’t have a regular midweek children’s activity programme at the moment, our next activity evening for Yr 7-11 children is scheduled for 16th June, when we plan on using the castle grounds and the Scout Hall between 7-9PM.
We do take our safeguarding responsibilities seriously here. Our church leaders and those responsible for children and vulnerable adults are routinely police checked, since we consider it important for everyones peace of mind.
